[The feed comes on sideways as the PokéGear hits the ground. You might catch a glimpse of a group of Blitzle stampeding off into the distance, but the main view is of Apollo rushing to use a Potion on an unfortunate Winter Deerling that couldn't get out of the way in time and got trampled. Once it recovers some of its HP, it gets to its feet and looks Apollo in the eye. What follows is... a whole lot of nothing, since they're passing mental images between each other and all that can be seen by the viewer is Apollo's expression going from concerned to pleased and then to increasing levels of awkward. He finally stands up and the Deerling makes its move, shoving its head under his cloak.]

Hey!

[The subject of the conversation is apparent when a Pokéball falls to the ground and the Deerling nudges it, going inside. Apollo stares down at it and scratches the back of his head, then bends down to pick it up. Congratulations! The wild Deerling has... caught itself?]

[The Deerling is out of its Pokéball now and talking with Spearow. They seem to be getting along well. Sentret is nowhere to be seen.]

I just wanted to heal him so he could go back to his life. He decided he wanted to travel with a human.

[He smiles at that.]

It looks like it. Sentret isn't so sure about him though. I think she just needs some time to get used to having another Pokémon around besides Spearow.

[Or maybe Sentret knows what Apollo having another Field-group Pokémon around means...]

I'm sure they'll all get along. You've got a very nice team.

I hope they will. It wouldn't be very nice to travel with Pokémon who don't like each other.

It seems like it. Most of them, anyway. Spearow likes to, but Sentret just likes to win. She only fights if she knows she can't lose.

Maybe it's stupid to be worried about them.

I have this curious feeling how those creatures could understand humans as well their behavior, unlike normal dogs from my world. These Pokemons are proved to be smarter.

No, it's not. Even if they can heal from any injuries that doesn't mean you should let them get hurt. They feel pain like anyone else.

They can understand us. Animals from home can too, but Pokémon are better at it. They know what human words mean even if they can't say them.

[A small nod.]

[He feels sorry for Glameow.]

[There's a pause and then a Sentret pokes her head out of the collar of Apollo's cloak, asking Glameow in Pokéspeak if she's accepting her trainer's apology.]

[In cat's behaviour, swinging tail violently meaning it's mocking the person. It could be angry or annoy. Fortunately, Glameow will consider it, since Ritsuka finally realized the change.]

[Sentret and Apollo look at each other for a moment before Apollo looks back at Ritsuka.]

She says she'll think about it.

[Think about it... alright. He can wait. It's worth to wait.]

Okay then. Maybe I'll try figure it out on the other way.

But it's kind of hard to avoid getting hurt when you fight. At least with humans. I had a friend who was a knight, and he was always bandaged up.

If you're good enough or have a good advantage you can fight without getting hurt. But when Pokémon fight at least one of them is going to get hurt since they always fight until one faints. There's no reason to pick fights and let them get hurt if you don't have to.

Just keep being nice to her.

Then I guess I better do my best and get good at battling.
