[The feed comes on to show Apollo in scrubs behind the front desk of the Azalea PokéCenter. It's been a slow day and he hasn't had very much to do besides stand there and think about the problem that the rain is hammering home. He hates to admit it, but it looks like he's stuck having to ask other humans for help on this one.]

Does anyone know how to build a shelter that's good for all the seasons? Ilex Forest isn't mountainous enough to have caves. I was thinking that digging some kind of burrow in a hill would work, but I don't know how to make a roof that would stay up and water wouldn't come through. I know there are mountains here, but do any of them have forests near them? If there's one like that it would be easier to just find a cave there than build a shelter.

Lots of people don't care if they hurt animals, but animals have feelings like humans do. Just remember to treat Pokémon like you treat your human friends. Don't make them fight if they don't want to.

Of course. I've lived in a cave for as long as I can remember before I came here.

You mean those containers that some things in the stores come in? Even if I found a really big one I don't think it would keep me dry for very long if it rained a lot.

That's what I've done for as long as I can remember. I haven't found any yet though. Have you seen any mountains with forests here? That would be the best place to look.

Not really...? I mean, there are flat out caves in a variety of places around Johto, but I wouldn't exactly say they were ideal for living in...

The only cave I've seen so far is the one on the route between Cherrygrove City and Violet City, and it wouldn't be a good place to live. If the other caves you've seen are anything like that one they wouldn't be any good either.

I've heard that there's a place call Mount Mortar though. Do you know what it's like?

The lake was fed by a stream and I got my water from it or leaving a bowl in the rain. If I had to urinate or defecate I went in the forest. Not like here where people do it in the next room. [He's still not convinced that toilets don't just dump everything into a giant pit right below the building.] Electricity's the thing that lights up a room when you move that little stick on the wall, right? I've never had any of that. If I want light at night I start a fire.

What's wrong with growing up like that?
