[The feed comes on to show Apollo in scrubs behind the front desk of the Azalea PokéCenter. It's been a slow day and he hasn't had very much to do besides stand there and think about the problem that the rain is hammering home. He hates to admit it, but it looks like he's stuck having to ask other humans for help on this one.]

Does anyone know how to build a shelter that's good for all the seasons? Ilex Forest isn't mountainous enough to have caves. I was thinking that digging some kind of burrow in a hill would work, but I don't know how to make a roof that would stay up and water wouldn't come through. I know there are mountains here, but do any of them have forests near them? If there's one like that it would be easier to just find a cave there than build a shelter.

No, I want to live there. Sleeping under a tree doesn't keep all the rain off, so I need a good shelter.

A tent wouldn't stay warm in the winter. I don't need to be able to move it, either.

Maybe I could use canvas to make a roof though. Does it keep out water if it rains a lot? I don't know what the tents I saw back home were made out of, but it seemed like the poachers weren't staying dry in them.

If you're making something more permanent, use thatch for the roof.

I've never gotten sick from the weather, but I always had the cave to sleep in back home. I want to find a cave to live in here, or make my own shelter if I can't find a cave.

Dry straw or reeds, in layers to keep the rain off. You want to live out of doors and aren't even that familiar with how to make your own shelter?

I don't know what a dinosaur is, so probably not. [Actually, he's from about 2023, if I worked out the dates right.]

I don't remember Grandpa setting up the cave we lived in. I've never had to make my own shelter before.

Yeah. We lived in the forest in the mountains. I spent a while exploring Ilex Forest here, but there aren't any natural shelters that would fit a human and three Pokémon.

I've lived in the forest for as long as I can remember before I came here. I don't get how anyone could stand to live in towns all the time.

[Running water is for wimps. Though Azalea is his least-hated town so far. Much better than Goldenrod.]
