[The feed opens to show Apollo, around the side of the Azalea PokéCenter, his face a mixture of confusion, apprehension, and vague annoyance, which is mostly hidden by the other two emotions.]

I knew that some Pokémon came from eggs, but I didn't think that the mammals would too.

[He turns the camera to show a Sentret, a Deerling, and...

Sentret is sitting happily with the Sentret eggs and Deerling is standing casually over the Deerling eggs. Apollo's voice comes from behind the camera.]

I didn't think that different kinds of Pokémon could mate, either. They won't tell me how they did it. There's no way that one of those eggs could have fit inside Sentret without me noticing.

[Sentret and Deerling both blush slightly. Why is he talking about that in public? Him straight-out asking them about it was bad enough. Apollo turns the camera back to focus on himself.]

They said that Sentret and Deerling can survive on their own after hatching, but I think they would do better if someone took care of them while they're young. I'm not sure if I could look after all six though. [A very slight pause.] Does anyone want to look after one of them? Nurse Joy says that she can send them to other PokéCenters through the PCs if you aren't near Azalea. [His tone indicates that he has no idea what that actually means.

He ends the feed at that. He'd really prefer not to have to ask this question of other humans, but if he could find people to look after them the babies would be better off, as long as they would treat them properly. He had talked to a few humans who didn't seem like the humans back home. Maybe some of them would offer to take care of them.]

Oh no oh no oh no no no.

He already had two other eggs that came out of no where plus two new pokemon. How was he supposed to take care of another one?!!!

...But Rin couldn't say no to a face like that. Well. He could but... but this was a pokémomma asking him to personally take care of her child! How can he say no?]

I guess I could take care of that one too. [SIGH]

Sen! Sen sen sen tret sent en tre! Entrensen! [She bounces for a moment.] Senen et! [She scurries off.]

[A few minutes pass before a bare foot, with bandages wrapped around the bridge and ankle, appears on the screen. The camera swings around as it rises off of the ground, before finally coming to rest on a human who Rin might recognize from their previous conversation.]

Sentret says that you want to look after the last Deerling egg?

[And recognize him he does! Rin's surprised he hadn't recognized the celery loving Sentret earlier...

He readjusts his hold on the egg and the gear.]

I just got two more "mysterious" eggs from no where! [grumble grumpy grumble] I may as well help out with a third one. At least they'll all hatch about the same time. [If he ~~still~~ had a tail, it would be boldly displaying his irritation. He face does soften up, however, as he makes the mistake of looking over at Sentret again.]

You can't look after the egg, can you. [Just an observation.]

Oh so you're the human that that Poochyena wanted to give those eggs to. [Because nothing is unusual about that statement at all nope.]

I'm already looking after an egg. I wasn't expecting any more. I'm going to be traveling so I'm not sure if I can look after more than one egg, or if I can carry another one and still have enough room for food.

WHAT THE HELL?!!!

Rin turns around and immediately locks his gaze with Poochy, who just so happens to have found herself with the other egg. If she knew Rin was looking at her, she would have stopped mothering the egg. But she goes on doing her best to take care of it and keep it warm.]

So they came from you?!! [HE LOOKS READY TO BLOW. HE IS SO NOT READY TO TAKE CARE OF MORE EGGS MAN. ...But like hell he's going to let them go homeless. After a good minute Rin manages to take (many) deep breathes.]

...Better that they're with me then. I'm at the Breeding Center over in Celadon and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.

[especially now that he has three more babies to look after. ...He actually doesn't seem all that upset about it.]

Do you know what the eggs will hatch into? I get that these two will be sentret but what about the green one?

...Yeah? [What is this reaction? Why does it change so fast?]

It's a Deerling egg. [He looks off-camera for a moment while he silently calls Deerling over, then turns the camera to show the eggs' father.] Like him.

[SO MUCH GRUMBLING...] Yeah.

[It doesn't even look like a cool pokemon... Fine, he'll take that as a personal challenge. Make Baby Deerling look and act freakin' cool.]

I see... Well, deerling, I'll take good care of your kid, 'kay?

Deer.

[Deerling nods once and... wanders away again. Some father he is!

Apollo doesn't seem too surprised by that, though it's obvious that he was expecting a bit more of a reaction.]

...So you're still in Celadon, right? I'll get Nurse Joy to send the egg to your PC Box like the other two.

[It's a good thing Poochy isn't paying attention. Or that Rin knows what Deerling said. But he can read facial expressions!]

...Is something wrong? Yeah I'm still here. I haven't moved anywhere in the last hour.

[Deerling just said "Okay." He's fine with Rin taking car of his kid.]

I was expecting Deerling to be more interested in the eggs than he is.

Okay, I'll have her send it. It should be there in a few minutes.
