[Beat-up combat boots? Check. Khaki army pants? Check. Black leather motorcycle jacket? Check. Black shirt with a black and white picture of some mohawked punk giving two middle fingers and "FUCK THE SYSTEM" on it? ...Check. Hair in short liberty spikes? Check. A bunch of safety pins through his ears in different places? ...Check. Way too many bracelets and wristbands, a studded belt, a bullet belt, and a bunch of wallet chains? ...Check.

Meet Yamask!Apollo, a teenage punk who's rubbing his forehead because he has Apollo's ability to connect to Pokémon's minds but a subconscious that hasn't had 13 years to learn how to turn that power off or understand most of what he's getting. Standing on Cianwood's beach next to an entire sea full of Pokémon is getting to be painful.

But enough forehead-rubbing! Time to get to why he's making this post!]

Listen up, fuckers! This here's a fuckin' wake-up call for yous all!

[He presses some buttons on the Gear and this starts blaring across the beach and the network at max volume. He sings along and does a decent job at it, even if he's a bit hard to hear over the music. When it's done he lets the silence echo for a moment before speaking.]

So're you fuckers gonna jus' sit around and let the Man tell yous all how to live yer lives? Or're you gonna take 'em back and do whatever the fuck you want with 'em? Get off yer asses and come tear down the System, fuckers!

[As the feed is about to close, Yamask!Apollo stuffs the last piece of a giant pizza into his mouth and suddenly looks very sick just before the feed ends.

Fun fact: Apollo's eaten a diet that's very heavy in meat for his entire life, and the only grains that he's ever eaten were in the food that Mom gave him. The human body can't switch between getting its energy from fat and getting its energy from sugars instantly, it takes a week or two. Yamask!Apollo is discovering what that process is like for many people who try to switch between the two.]

I am, but I appreciate the support and I should support them back.

I can't support myself by myself. There's the matter of clothing, defending from other wild pokémon, fires, shelter, food, medical related things and all of this technology was made possible by other people. We're reliant on each other by nature. What about a newborn? Does he not get by by his family....? A child? People grow everyday, and it's our duty to support those both young and old and everyone else that needs aid.

I appreciate the help they've given me and so I'll serve them. I certainly couldn't catch a pokémon without getting one to start with!

Sometimes you do! Without a government to regulate or help the people when they need it and get them back on their feet, chaos arises because people will do whatever they can to provide for themselves.

How am I going to get to the Safari Zone when I have no pokémon to guide me there? There are animals that can breathe fire as early as level five, level thirties sound to be dangerous, especially in groups.

No they can't. There will always be able people and cultural nuances that will prevent people from getting along. Some people are just naturally grumpy. [ CoughByakuyaCough. ] People need guidance to do things. They need aid if they fall down, because they may not get it otherwise. A central system is reassuring and it provides people help when they need it, and, at the very least, a place to blame instead of taking out their rage on others. [ She works for a Government. She loves The System, despite its flaws. ]

But, without people to produce the pokéballs, how am I going to obtain one? WIthout order, someone could just steal them. Besides, what if they resist it completely? You have to weaken a pokémon before you catch it. [ Her Team Rocket classes did her well. Kinda. ]

The system doesn't do that! Other people do! People take advantage of chaos all the time to create war. Without anyone to lead, people are going to fight for power. It's just what happens! [ She understands the role for keeping order and she takes that Very Seriously. ]

Yeah, but without a larger force to stop and prevent them by incarcerating them, they'll just be at large and constantly robbing. Without a police force, the threats will come out without fear. Just their presence keeps order by reinforcing order.

Yeah, but how does the pokéball get there? Without a system to give payments to those that deserve it for their hard work, they're very likely to stop working and what happens if the pokeballs fail? I can't be in the wilderness by myself without a pokeball! That's dangerous.
