I never traveled for distances like this back home, and never over water farther than swimming across the lake, so I thought I should be extra careful this time.

She makes a wave under her and makes it move forward while she rides on top of it. She doesn't sink even with my weight on her, but she's hard to ride since her body's long and skinny. When we surfed from Olivine City to Cianwood City she held the middle of a rope in her mouth and I held the ends, and once she got moving I could kind of stand on the water and let her pull me. It was fun at first but it started to rain partway through and we ended up having to stay on one of the Whirlpool Islands for two days until the storm blew over.
