[Beat-up combat boots? Check. Khaki army pants? Check. Black leather motorcycle jacket? Check. Black shirt with a black and white picture of some mohawked punk giving two middle fingers and "FUCK THE SYSTEM" on it? ...Check. Hair in short liberty spikes? Check. A bunch of safety pins through his ears in different places? ...Check. Way too many bracelets and wristbands, a studded belt, a bullet belt, and a bunch of wallet chains? ...Check.

Meet Yamask!Apollo, a teenage punk who's rubbing his forehead because he has Apollo's ability to connect to Pokémon's minds but a subconscious that hasn't had 13 years to learn how to turn that power off or understand most of what he's getting. Standing on Cianwood's beach next to an entire sea full of Pokémon is getting to be painful.

But enough forehead-rubbing! Time to get to why he's making this post!]

Listen up, fuckers! This here's a fuckin' wake-up call for yous all!

[He presses some buttons on the Gear and this starts blaring across the beach and the network at max volume. He sings along and does a decent job at it, even if he's a bit hard to hear over the music. When it's done he lets the silence echo for a moment before speaking.]

So're you fuckers gonna jus' sit around and let the Man tell yous all how to live yer lives? Or're you gonna take 'em back and do whatever the fuck you want with 'em? Get off yer asses and come tear down the System, fuckers!

[As the feed is about to close, Yamask!Apollo stuffs the last piece of a giant pizza into his mouth and suddenly looks very sick just before the feed ends.

Fun fact: Apollo's eaten a diet that's very heavy in meat for his entire life, and the only grains that he's ever eaten were in the food that Mom gave him. The human body can't switch between getting its energy from fat and getting its energy from sugars instantly, it takes a week or two. Yamask!Apollo is discovering what that process is like for many people who try to switch between the two.]

[... what on earth is going on.

Though he's more worried about him looking rather unwell at the end, so he'll ignore all the crazyness for now. Well, technically this questions could be about the whole situation.]

Are you alright? You don't look so well.

[Definitely not the same person he's talked to a few times.]

Fix what, exactly?

I haven't noticed anything like that going on? Sure, we're traveling the world, training Pokémon we've been given, but it's not like anyone's forcing us to do it.

[... well, he does have good points. He's quiet for a while, since he's not really sure what to say to that until a little later.]

You think there are people who decide all these things? I mean, it seems pretty absurd to think humans can actually decide how many Pokémon you carry with you, for example.

It might have been made for the sake of convenience. It would be rather hard to carry more than six with you.

And who exactly do you need to fight? What will you fight them with? How will you obtain that? What will you do when there's no need to fight anymore? Having others who wish to change things at your side is necessary, but how can you know you can trust them?

[He's been doing that for thirteen years, he knows how to organize these things.]

To truly be efficient, you need to do more than target the system. You need to aim for those who are central to it, or those whose decisions are directly responsible for your troubles.

[Ash, this really isn't the right time to be helpful.]

Using their own supplies is an excellent idea, but you'd need the right informants to know where they are kept, and how to obtain them without endangering your allies. You also need a way to recognize spies among your ranks, or else your ideals will die before you get anywhere.

Every brick you pull out is a brick you can't reuse later. What happens when you run out of bricks?

[He knows that, and yet.]

So they can do that even here? Now that's a good start for a plan. And how will you get close enough to read the right people's minds?

It might not seem that way at your age, but no system can be completely torn down so easily and rebuilt from scratch. Unless you have plans for the post, the roads, the ports? You need to figure out what can be salvaged, just as you need to figure out who you'd have to follow in the streets in the first place.

[...okay, she knows Apollo. Or at least, Wild Man At-One-with-All-of-Nature Apollo. And this? This is not that Apollo. If it was somebody else, she'd wonder if it was a joke or some kind of Halloween prank, but she's not sure he has the sense of humor for that. Whatever it is, though, he looked kind of green for a second there]

...uh, are you all right there?

[Sounds kind of- okay, she sounds really damned confused. She's still not sure what to make of all this. But, practical matters first]

But I like the man! [ It's true! Momo Hinamori in her black top (which, if the feed was any lower, would reveal itself to be a rocket uniform) waves her arms frantically. Her Woobat nods in smug agreement. ]

He gave me clothes... [ The woobat stops for a minute and eyes Hinamori before continuing to nod. ]

No! First of all, I'm at least fifty. [ yaaay vague BLEACH timelines... ] Second of all, I'm not going to disobey authority just because you tell me to. I'm going to work with it out of gratitude while providing for myself after they've helped me get me started. Third of all, what could I work as if I'm fighting the man - whoever that is - since most jobs have a boss, and, without them there probably wouldn't be jobs! [ Hinamori Izuru 2012. ]

I am, but I appreciate the support and I should support them back.

I can't support myself by myself. There's the matter of clothing, defending from other wild pokémon, fires, shelter, food, medical related things and all of this technology was made possible by other people. We're reliant on each other by nature. What about a newborn? Does he not get by by his family....? A child? People grow everyday, and it's our duty to support those both young and old and everyone else that needs aid.

I appreciate the help they've given me and so I'll serve them. I certainly couldn't catch a pokémon without getting one to start with!

Sometimes you do! Without a government to regulate or help the people when they need it and get them back on their feet, chaos arises because people will do whatever they can to provide for themselves.

How am I going to get to the Safari Zone when I have no pokémon to guide me there? There are animals that can breathe fire as early as level five, level thirties sound to be dangerous, especially in groups.

No they can't. There will always be able people and cultural nuances that will prevent people from getting along. Some people are just naturally grumpy. [ CoughByakuyaCough. ] People need guidance to do things. They need aid if they fall down, because they may not get it otherwise. A central system is reassuring and it provides people help when they need it, and, at the very least, a place to blame instead of taking out their rage on others. [ She works for a Government. She loves The System, despite its flaws. ]

But, without people to produce the pokéballs, how am I going to obtain one? WIthout order, someone could just steal them. Besides, what if they resist it completely? You have to weaken a pokémon before you catch it. [ Her Team Rocket classes did her well. Kinda. ]

The system doesn't do that! Other people do! People take advantage of chaos all the time to create war. Without anyone to lead, people are going to fight for power. It's just what happens! [ She understands the role for keeping order and she takes that Very Seriously. ]

Yeah, but without a larger force to stop and prevent them by incarcerating them, they'll just be at large and constantly robbing. Without a police force, the threats will come out without fear. Just their presence keeps order by reinforcing order.

Yeah, but how does the pokéball get there? Without a system to give payments to those that deserve it for their hard work, they're very likely to stop working and what happens if the pokeballs fail? I can't be in the wilderness by myself without a pokeball! That's dangerous.
