[Video / Action for Azalea]

whateveryoueatliveitspart[The feed opens to show Apollo, around the side of the Azalea PokéCenter, his face a mixture of confusion, apprehension, and vague annoyance, which is mostly hidden by the other two emotions.]
I knew that some Pokémon came from eggs, but I didn't think that the mammals would too.
[He turns the camera to show a Sentret, a Deerling, and...
Sentret is sitting happily with the Sentret eggs and Deerling is standing casually over the Deerling eggs. Apollo's voice comes from behind the camera.]
I didn't think that different kinds of Pokémon could mate, either. They won't tell me how they did it. There's no way that one of those eggs could have fit inside Sentret without me noticing.
[Sentret and Deerling both blush slightly. Why is he talking about that in public? Him straight-out asking them about it was bad enough. Apollo turns the camera back to focus on himself.]
They said that Sentret and Deerling can survive on their own after hatching, but I think they would do better if someone took care of them while they're young. I'm not sure if I could look after all six though. [A very slight pause.] Does anyone want to look after one of them? Nurse Joy says that she can send them to other PokéCenters through the PCs if you aren't near Azalea. [His tone indicates that he has no idea what that actually means.
He ends the feed at that. He'd really prefer not to have to ask this question of other humans, but if he could find people to look after them the babies would be better off, as long as they would treat them properly. He had talked to a few humans who didn't seem like the humans back home. Maybe some of them would offer to take care of them.]

Before Apollo can dig too deeply into what the conversation's about, Sentret relays the details that are directed at him. Or at least she tries to. Apollo, Sentret, and Deerling all get in on the face-scrunching as the Pokémon try and fail to send Apollo proper nouns through his telepathy. Finally he turns back to Poochy.]
Can you show me what the words look like? I can't understand human words when I talk to them.

[She's confused by his request. How's she supposed to show human words? It was hard enough conveying most of them... But Poochy didn't like being stumped. Humans liked to talk a lot and they liked to look at pieces of paper and speak to them.
Maybe Apollo would want to see those pieces of paper? She trots off screen for a good twenty minutes before returning with a page torn out of the Celadon City travel guide. It had an image of the Breeding Center, but the words were mostly obscured by her bite marks.]

[The feed returns a few minutes later, inside the Azalea PokéCenter.]
Nurse Joy says that that looks like some place in Celadon City. Is that right?
For your human's name... [He thinks for a bit, then digs in his bag for his Trainer ID. "Apollo, 13 years old, Breeder."] Does your human have one of these? Nurse Joy says it has a human's name on it.

[Poochy's had enough of Deerling (and she hopes she never sees one in person), but she was more than happy to dig through more of Rin's belongings.]
Sure, I've seen him with one of those. He always keeps it someplace close... [How will she get it out... Aha! A plan! She rushes off screen and returns this time in less than five minutes with a wallet. She pushes her nose against it until it nudges open and manages to place the wallet, ID up, against the screen. "Rin Okumura, 15, Trainer" can be seen, but the picture's a little too blurred this close to make it out.]
Take your time. I gotta go help that dummy "find his wallet". [She woofed with mirth, knowing well where his wallet really was.]

[The gear stays on and forgotten for a little more than an hour until a surprised looking Rin picks up his gear. He looks a little more startled than upset. Under one arm he had a Sentret egg, the second one was placed upon his bed in a nest of blankets.
He mutters something under his breath about Poochy's bite marks all over the gear before noticing that the video call was on. Just make his day, person-who-might-be-on-the-other-line. Just make his day.]

Rin turns around and immediately locks his gaze with Poochy, who just so happens to have found herself with the other egg. If she knew Rin was looking at her, she would have stopped mothering the egg. But she goes on doing her best to take care of it and keep it warm.]
So they came from you?!! [HE LOOKS READY TO BLOW. HE IS SO NOT READY TO TAKE CARE OF MORE EGGS MAN. ...But like hell he's going to let them go homeless. After a good minute Rin manages to take (many) deep breathes.]
