[Apollo doesn't fully understand why people make badge posts, but his team is resting after the battle so he might as well, right? He definitely needs to do something to calm down after spending the entire battle worrying about his team's safety. Plus there's something he wants to check on.

So the video opens with a shot of Fearow, Furret, and Sawsbuck resting in the Ecruteak park. In the background you may catch glimpses of Combee gathering nectar from some flowers and Vespiquen hovering nearby. After a moment of this the camera whips around to show the Fog Badge and Strength HM he won in his hand, then moves to show his face. He looks like he's doing better since the last badge post he made.]

It took two tries, but they managed to beat the Ecruteak City Gym. The Pokémon there have some really strong moves, especially the one that makes other Pokémon faint after a while. I almost couldn't call Fearow back in time, but I kept them all from fainting, so it worked out.

They want to try to beat another gym so I was thinking we would go to the one in Olivine since it gives two HMs. I was wondering though, how much longer will it be until the first snows come? It feels like I'll have time, but I want to make sure.

Ecruteak City? Gosh, I remember that being a pretty tough one to beat.

...Say, what Pokemon is that you've got there? The deer one, I mean.

That was the one with all the ghost Pokemon, right? A lot of my Pokemon had a hard time hitting them. That gym gave me the creeps too.

Oh, he's really neat-looking! I've never seen one of them before.

I wish I'd know that sooner. Luckily I had enough strong Pokemon besides Mr. Bear to help win that badge!

Hm! I wish I would've caught one. Maybe they'll come back and I'll be able to catch one.

I could do that too! I've got a lot of baby Pokemon to look after as it is though...

But that's still very important. I'm sure they're very grateful.

Even a little help does a lot. I don't help my friend Twilight too much... but she says I'm very important.

Cheer... Um... It means... to encourage! When you want someone to do well, you cheer for them... Like...

Yaaay. You rock. Whoo-hoo.

It could've been worse. If you'd been hit with Mean Look and then Curse, you'd be stuck with no way out. Throw in some Hypnosis, and fighting ghosts is a real nightmare.

[He says that as his Haunter swoops out in front of him and takes up... most of the screen. Hey, it's a 5'3'' floating head, after all!]

...Phantom, knock it off.

[Phantom responds with some white noise before, reluctantly, moving out of the way.]

Anyway, if you're headed to Olivine, you might want to grab a fire type first. And as for snow... I'd give it another two months. It usually hits around November and December.

Yeah, Phantom's one of my oldest Pokémon.

[That's right, bub! C'mere, trainer, have some obnoxious hair ruffles. Bleh, heh, heh!]

Heat Wave should help, but Jasmine's got a Magneton and Steelix who can do a number on flying types.

[Still, Riku remembers that Apollo's views on Pokémon differ from most folks.]

And yeah, months are basically the same thing.

As long as they're at the right levels and use the right strategy. Plus, there are ways to work around type disadvantages.

[Says the trainer who sics his Charizard on water types to pulverize them with solarbeam and thunderpunch.]

Teach them moves that cover their weak spots, for one. Flare's a fire type, for one, and he knows Solarbeam and Thunderpunch, not to mention a few rock and ground moves.

[He smirks.]

Sometimes you can turn the tides by making it seem like your Pokémon's out of their element. Throws people off.

There might be some info, but a lot of my experience has come from digging through books and a little trial and error. Doesn't help that the tutors are constantly on the move.

Trial and error could work, I guess. At least with the tutors, you can ask them about it.
